US taxpayers must disclosed foreign bank accounts over $10,000 or face stiff civil and criminal penalties. There is an amnesty program until 9-23-09. Use an attorney to help you with the amnesty program because a CPA has only civil penalty immunities and could be forced to testify against the taxpayer.
